Hello peeps!
Today I decided to take my time to sit down and write something on my blog because its been too long since I've actually posted something here. As you can tell by the tittle, I will be talking through my experience being at the World Stage again and its my 2nd time since Justin Bieber's time. It was an unexpected concert trip because I didn't think of winning one.
How I got the tickets:
So after I got to know that world stage this year is interesting because Jason Derulo (2nd time in Malaysia) and Carly Rae Jepsen first time being in Malaysia to perform and I tried to entered the contest which was quite easy to win tickets *if you are in luck* which you have to watch the video provided and then there will be few questions to be answered and if you guess it right, you won on the spot or might not. One thing I like about this contest is that, they never let you give up so you can re-enter the contest over and over again. I did won on the spot and the next day I woke up, received an email saying that I did won a pair of tickets to see them live. I brought along my best friend aka she's the bae aka Nina Baharom. *I don't even know why did I say your full name out loud haha*.
About the tickets, I had to get it myself to the post office and I had like 15 days before the concert to take it and so, it was like 2 days til the due date of taking the tickets and it was my working day that I tried taking those tickets because I thought of giving up them since I had really no time to take it. I had to skip work *of course with acceptation of working place lol* and find that post office all by myself which was located at Taman Shamelin, Cheras. Trust me, thanks to google for helping me out the ways to go there. Had to asked people where is it and I took the risk to get on public transportation all by myself. But I thank god that I was being guided and being safe to reach there. After I reach to the post office, I had to wait like 3 hours to get my tickets because there's like a procedure to follow and sign forms and stuff which was annoying. After 3 hours, finally I touched my tickets and I'm still wondering whether it was actually real or I'm actually dreaming. *wake up mia* *wake up mia*
IT ACTUALLY REAL!
What happen on the concert day:
On the day of the concert, I had to work before the concert then my friend's parents pick me up from work *sweetest thing ever* to drive us there to the venue. Thank god as well that it wasn't that traffic and we got there few hours before the concert. The best thing about lining up, we cut the line and made it through earlier or else we wouldn't have been standing front. We did tried to sneak up on the first line but end up people caught us and we had to pretend as if we were finding for someone in the line. funniest thing ever! After we got through inside, got bag checked and merchandises then got to the venue and it was just 2 more hours til concert starts. Waited patiently in the stuffy crowd which made me almost pass out. *Not fun*
As the concert started, I was already exhausted for waiting long. so me and my friend decided to drag ourselves out from the crowd and we made our way out to get some place to sit and rest before we can see the person that we want to see performing. Then, this comes the best part.... we sneak back in the crowd til the front row and it was the best decision ever made. We thought of just standing at the back because we believed that we will never get back to the front again but actually we did. People started going back and that's when we get closer and closer to the stage *which was pretty awesome* and we saw two of our favorites performing live in front of our eyes. Glad I had my best friend along with me and we dance and sing as loud as we can and it was the best time ever.
One thing that I forgot to mention, that one of my shoes decided to be a bitch on day because one of my under cover came off during the concert and I barely try to walk properly. Worst thing ever! thank god I had it save by a rubber band to tie up around my shoe to make sure it doesn't fall off. *but actually it did came off and misplaced somewhere* So I advised to those who likes going concerts, please do not wear cheap shoes because it doesn't last long through out the day.
But anyways, I still did survived on that day. Haha. Well that's it for today. I believed this is one of my longest blog story I've wrote. So I hope you guys whoever reading this like it. THANK YOU for reading and for that, I reward you with some of behind the scenes pics from the day of the concert.
